Sydney Harbour fishing spots

A deep, busy harbour with more than 120 known land-based spots among wharves, parks and rocky points. Kingfish, squid, bream, luderick, tarwhine, silver trevally, flathead and mulloway are the mainstays, and salmon, bonito and other pelagics push in through the heads in the warmer months. Fish caught west of the Harbour Bridge should be released because of dioxin contamination.
