Esperance fishing spots
Esperance pairs a sheltered town bay and a 415 m jetty (opened 2021) with white surf beaches and the islands of the Recherche Archipelago. Shore anglers take herring, King George whiting, squid and skippy from the jetties and Bandy Creek; salmon schools work the Twilight Beach Road beaches in autumn; and boats fish the islands for samsonfish, kingfish and queen snapper. Wudjari Marine Park zoning starts late 2026.
