Geraldton and Dongara fishing spots
Geraldton's coast mixes reef-fringed points, surf beaches and river mouths, with tailor, mulloway, whiting and herring the everyday shore targets. Point Moore and Separation Point suit whiting and herring, the Greenough and Chapman river mouths draw mulloway, tailor and bream, and Port Denison at Dongara adds a harbour rock wall. Winter storms bring bigger tailor and mulloway; the Abrolhos Islands lie offshore.
