Lancelin, Ledge Point and Guilderton fishing spots
North of Perth, Lancelin, Ledge Point and Guilderton are reef-and-beach towns where herring, whiting and tailor are the shore staples, with squid and the odd samsonfish off Lancelin's jetty. Guilderton adds the Moore River: bream inside, and herring and mulloway at the mouth when the bar is open. Boats mostly launch over the beach. Autumn and early winter fish best.
