Evans Head fishing spots
A fishing town at the mouth of the Evans River, between Broadwater and Bundjalung national parks. The river gives bream, flathead, whiting and summer jacks; the walls, rocks and beaches give tailor, mulloway, luderick and drummer; and the inshore reefs hold snapper in the cooler months and cobia, tuna and Spanish mackerel when the warm current arrives.
