Wooli and Minnie Water fishing spots
Quiet villages from Brooms Head to Station Creek inside Yuraygir National Park, most of it in the northern Solitary Islands Marine Park, where several creeks and nearshore waters are sanctuary zones. Away from those, beaches and headlands fish well for tailor, bream and mulloway, and the lower Wooli and Sandon rivers hold bream, flathead and whiting. Autumn is a good beach season.
