Mission Beach fishing spots
Mission Beach is a string of beaches and rocky points facing Dunk and the Family Islands, with the Hull and Tully rivers to the south. Anglers fish the rivers for barramundi, salmon and jacks, the points and Clump Point for queenfish and trevally, and run boats to the islands for reef fish and mackerel. Green and yellow zones are close to many beaches, so check before casting.
